Farmers invited to Yarn in a Barn in Lyndhurst to find advice




AN event tomorrow to support farming and rural communities – dubbed Yarn in a Barn – will offer help with funding, health and combatting rural crime.

Hosted by New Forest District Council, it will also involve the Farming Community Network (FCN), Hampshire County Council, and Hampshire police.

It will be held at Lyndhurst community centre on Thursday 9th February from 6pm to 9pm.

There will also be representatives from the national park authority, the National Farmers’ Union, the National Institute of Agricultural Botany, Natural England, and the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution.

Sally Field, south-east regional support officer for FCN, said: "This meeting will highlight what is available to help people.”

Admission to the event is free.
