Wightlink changes Lymington-Yarmouth ferry timetable to ‘improve’ rail connectivity

FERRY company Wightlink is changing its Lymington-to-Yarmouth timetable to "improve connectivity" with rail services.

From Sunday 30th April, all Sunday evening sailings will depart from Lymington at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm, instead of five minutes past the hour.

Return journeys from Yarmouth will depart at 6.05pm, 7.05pm and 8.05pm, instead of 10 minutes past the hour.

Wightlink chief executive Keith Greenfield said: “We are pleased to make these minor changes to the timetable which will benefit customers who want to make connections with rail services.

“Our decision follows meetings with Isle of Wight MP Bob Seely and discussions with South Western Railway. The rail company has also made adjustments to its timetable.”

The timetable changes will also affect Wightlink's Portsmouth Harbour to Ryde FastCat foot passenger service.
