Firefighters rescue injured person from scaffolding on Sandy Lane in St Ives, Ringwood




FIREFIGHTERS rushed to help an injured person on scaffolding at a Ringwood property.

The alarm was raised shortly after 11am on Monday, with reports the casualty was in difficulty at the structure’s first-floor level in Sandy Lane in the St Ives area.

Crews from the town and Redhill Park were joined by Poole-based specialist technical rescue teams.

The casualty was brought down by rope and given first aid before being handed over to paramedics.
