Flood alert for Christchurch Harbour 8th and 9th November

THE flood alerts continue for Christchurch, with strong winds raising the risk tonight (Tuesday) and tomorrow morning.
The Environment Agency says high tides at 9.25pm today and 9.43am tomorrow could see flooding at Christchurch Harbour and tidal stretches of the Avon and Stour rivers.
All flood gates have also been closed.
The area is expecting westerly winds hitting force-six tonight and force-five tomorrow.
