Fordingbridge driver Nathan Timmins hit with over £1,000 in fine and costs for mobile phone offence




DRIVING a van while using a hand-held mobile phone resulted in a Fordingbridge motorist having to pay out over £1,000.

Nathan Timmins (29), of Picket Close, had denied committing the offence while at the wheel of a Ford Transit on Thomas Lewis Way in Southampton on 7th July 2022.

But the city’s magistrates found him guilty in his absence.

As well as being disqualified for six months, Timmins was fined £500 and told to pay £620 in prosecution costs.
