2025 Dogstival in Burley Park draws over 10,000
CROWDS of over 10,000 people turned up with their four-legged friends to enjoy a sunshine-soaked Dogstival which featured a swimming pool to cool the pooches down.
The annual event proved more popular than ever with people and pets at Burley Park, with attractions including a man-made beach, Ibiza-style doggy disco and even a foam party.
There were also cookery demonstrations for pups at the Naturo Healthy Hound Kitchen which showed off ‘fine dining’ and sausage making – there was even a ‘Bark Off’ baking challenge.
The Paw Prints and Paintbrushes Art Studio proved a hit with pets using peanut butter on canvas to create a pawtrait.
Doga Sessions – yoga for dogs – were popular with crowds too, as was the outdoor cinema where two and four-legged festival goers took a moment to chill over screenings of the canine tear-jerker Marley & Me.
Dogstival festival director Domine Nowell said: “At Dogstival, dogs have and always will be the VIPs of our event, with everything we do being dedicated to their enjoyment.
“Each year, we make every effort to crank up the fun and bring something new and quirky to standout out on the four-legged festival circuit.
“Seeing thousands of dogs having the time of their lives in a foam party on a beach confirmed that we succeeded with our mission, and we have been delighted to hear all the human feedback that this year may have been our best Dogstival yet.”
Next year’s Dogstival will be on 30th and 31st of May. For more information visit dogstival.co.uk
