Have your say on BCP Council budget plans




CHRISTCHURCH residents are being asked what they think BCP Council should cut from their budget next year

They are being consulted on whether the authority should make savings on services including libraries, street lighting, CCTV, paddling pools, Christchurch Household Recycling Centre and school crossing patrols, amongst others.

BCP Council is facing a £44m funding gap. Leader Vikki Slade said: ““We are facing a challenging economic environment on a scale we’ve never experienced before.

“Our priority is to set a sustainable and balanced budget.”

People have until 11.59pm on Wednesday 20th December to give their feedback by visiting: haveyoursay.bcpcouncil.gov.uk/budget
