Heavy rain and thunder warning for New Forest on Saturday

A YELLOW weather alert has been issued for parts of the New Forest tomorrow.

The Met Office has said heavy rain and thunderstorms may "bring some disruption" and there was a small chance of flooding for some homes or businesses and damage to buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes or hail.

There is a possibility of delays with cancellations to train and bus services, along with spray and sudden flooding on roads.

The alert is in place from 6am and lasts all day.
