Heavy rain is set to hit the New Forest and Christchurch tomorrow (Tuesday).
The Met Office has issued a yellow alert and has warned the conditions may lead to flooding and travel disruption.
Bus and train services will "probably" be affected, and flooding of a few homes and businesses is "possible".
A Met Office spokesman said: "A band of rain will move east across southern parts of England and Wales during Tuesday morning.
"Some of the rain will be heavy, with 15-30mm falling widely and as much as 40-50mm over parts of southern England."
The alert is in place from midnight to 1pm.
