Holbury man Cori Bone due in court over alleged knife offences
A HOLBURY man is due before magistrates following an incident in which two large kitchen knives were allegedly brandished at police.
Officers were carrying out patrols in Southampton on bank holiday Monday when they saw a man acting suspiciously in Banister Road shortly after midday.
He did not stop when approached, so they followed him before he then was said to have produced the two blades and pointed them at the officers.
They deployed their tasers and arrested him.
Cori Bone (25), of Faircross Close, was charged with possessing a knife in a public place and breaching bail conditions.
Having appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court the following day, Bone was remanded to reappear at the same court on Monday 5th September.
