Homes in Fawley area hit by power cut

A HOST of residents in the Fawley area woke this morning (Monday) to find their power off.

Energy firm SSE said the cut, which is affecting homes near Holbury, Blackfield and Fawley, started just after 3.30am and is expected to be fixed by midday.

The postcodes affected are: SO45 1GA and SO45 2LA.

A post on the SSE website said: "We’re sorry for the loss of supply. Our engineers are on site working hard to get the power back on as quickly as they can."
