Plan to replace bungalow with pair of two-storey homes on South Avenue in New Milton

PLANS have been submitted to New Forest District Council to demolish a bungalow in New Milton and build two houses in its place.

Applicant Planning Base Ltd said the new two-storey properties at 19 South Avenue would provided "much-needed" local housing.

But the scheme has attracted five objections describing it as "complete overdevelopment" in an area with lots of bungalows.

One neighbour said they were "horrified" by the proposal.

A decision by NFDC is expected after the deadline for public comments on 23rd September.
