Cow killed on the B3078 at Crows Nest, and injured horse put down after collision on Brockenhurst Road at Wootton




A HORSE and a cow died in two of three collisions involving New Forest animals in the past week.

Agister Robert Maton responded to a cow killed on the B3078 at Crows Nest at 11pm last Wednesday.

Shortly before 3pm the following day, a bay filly was injured on Brockenhurst Road at Wootton. Agister Peter Rix responded and it was put down.

A collision involving a liver chestnut pony was reported on the B3078 at Longcross at 2.30pm on Sunday, but Mr Maton found nothing.
