ATTACKING a police officer while on a suspended sentence for an identical offence landed a Hythe man with a 12-week prison term.
Michael Stimson (39), of Ladycross Road, pleaded guilty to assaulting PC Alan Robertson on 7th April, when he appeared before Southampton magistrates.
It put him in breach of an order for another attack on a police officer. The Bench said Stimson showed a "complete disregarded for the law and complete disrespect to a public servant carrying out his duties".
Stimson was ordered to pay the PC £50 compensation.
