Witness appeal after indecent exposure at Hengistbury Head




A MOUNTAIN bike rider indecently exposed himself to a woman in the early morning at Hengistbury Head.

At about 8.40am on 28th May, the female victim was walking at the southern tip of the beauty spot when a man with a black mountain bike approached, propped his bike up and indecently exposed himself.

He was white, aged in his mid 30s, about six feet tall, well built with dark brown hair tied in a low bun. He was wearing a pale blue T-shirt, khaki-coloured shorts and sunglasses.

Police are now appealing for witnesses and those with information about the incident to get in touch.

Dorset Police Sergeant Dave Hambleton said: “This was understandably a distressing incident for the victim and we are carrying out enquiries to identify the suspect.

“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened to please come forward.

“I would also urge any member of the public who may recognise the man from the description given to contact Dorset Police.”
