Letters: Thank you, mystery jogger, for rescuing my dogs
Published: 00:00, 28 November 2019
SIR - A few days ago my two Labradors, Latte and Mocha, jumped off the clifftop between Steamer Point and the Castle.
They landed halfway down the face. They couldn’t get back up the sheer surface and couldn’t get down through the heavy gorse and brambles.
A crowd gathered to help but all our efforts to get them down failed.
A jogger comes running by and proceeds to climb up the cliff face and after some time and quite a struggle he rescues both dogs and jogs on without a word to anyone.
Sir, I did not get the chance to thank you so I do hope you get this message. I am so grateful to you and thank you so much for your work in rescuing the dogs.
You are a star.
