Letters: Traders, we don't all use the worldwide web (whatever that is)

SIR – Why do retailers and advertisers etc all insist on using only the WWW (worldwide web) – whatever that is – and not include a telephone number or address?

Today I went to Highcliffe Castle to see an exhibition and wanted to contact the exhibitors.

They only supplied a WWW so I would not contact them.

Why don’t these people realise they are losing thousands of pounds of business because of people like me who rely on normal business methods of transaction like telephoning and writing?
