A LORRY careered off a road and ploughed into a tree in Dibden early this morning (Wednesday).
Part of the HGV’s side was ripped away by the impact when the incident took place shortly after 7am in Main Road. No injuries were reported.
The road was partially blocked, but motorists were reportedly still able to pass the crash scene, outside Dibden Golf Centre, “with care”.
The lorry was recovered by around 8.30am, and a Hampshire police spokesperson said the scene was cleared by around 9.45am.
Around 3.30pm the previous day, crews attended a two-vehicle collision which blocked the same road in both directions, between the golf centre and Claypits Lane for two-and-a-half hours. Again, no injuries were reported.
