Lymington independent holiday homes letting agency New Forest Escapes marks first decade

A LYMINGTON-based holiday home letting agency which allows guests to live like locals in the New Forest has celebrated its first decade.

Launched in 2013, New Forest Escapes is an independent and female-led business offering a varied selection of homes across the district’s coast and countryside areas.

It has dozens of accommodation spots offering amenities such as sea views, hot tubs and acres of land.

As well as Lymington, locations include Burley, Ringwood and Fordingbridge; Beaulieu and Hythe; and northern and southern parts of the Forest.

Managing director Jane Wilkinson said: “A decade ago we opened the doors to our first New Forest escape, setting the precedent for what would become our unique and eclectic collection of holiday homes.

“Having grown to now include over 50 holiday cottages, each of our ‘great escapes’ offer a place to live like a local amongst the New Forest.”

New Forest Escapes was certified as a B Corp company in 2022 for meeting high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.

Local knowledge is used to promote conscious tourism and champion New Forest businesses.
