Lymington-Pennington footpath to closed for six months

Part of a footpath linking Lymington and Pennington will be closed for up to six months for improvements and bridge replacement.

The footpath runs from near Oakhaven Hospice in Lower Pennington Lane to Milford Road, near Newbridge Copse.

It’s part of the wider footpath network across Lymington and Pennington.

Hampshire County Council’s countryside service says there are no alternative routes but “reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises” while the work is carried out.

It will close from Wednesday 8th May.
