Lymington woman Holly Newman fined after attacking police officer

ATTACKING a police constable landed a Lymington woman with a £100 fine.

Holly Newman (48), of Tithe Barn, had initially denied assaulting PC Marc Vincent in July last year but later changed her plea to guilty when she appeared before Southampton Magistrates' Court.

The Bench also ordered she pay the victim £50 in compensation.
