Man charged after £400 stolen from Coffee & Drift in Lymington




A MAN has been charged in connection with a burglary in Lymington after a coffee shop on the quay had its glass door smashed and £400 stolen.

Thieves broke into Coffee & Drift on Quay Road around 1am on Saturday. A till containing £400 was stolen.

A Hampshire police spokesperson said: “Following enquiries, 44-year-old Richard Luke, of no fixed abode, has been charged with burglary.

“He was remanded in custody to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on 7th April and at the hearing, he was further remanded in custody to appear at Southampton Crown Court on 7th May.”
