Ashley man Daniel Light charged with criminal damage incidents in New Milton

POLICE probing a spate of vandalism which has plagued premises in New Milton have charged a man in connection with seven alleged incidents.

Acting on information about offences across the town in recent months, officers attended an address in Ashley yesterday (Wednesday).

They made an arrest in relation to seven allegations of criminal damage and one of shoplifting.

A further arrest was made on suspicion of cultivating cannabis.

Daniel Light (36), of Dinham Road, is due to appear in court in mid-March to face the nine charges.
