Stevenage man accused of having an unsecure load on A35 Southampton Road, Lyndhurst, is adjourned at Aldershot Magistrates’ Court




A MAN accused after an unsecured load fell from a lorry, seriously injuring a pedestrian, will next appear in court in March.

The incident in October 2022 happened on the A35 Southampton Road near the former Lyndhurst Park Hotel site.

The victim, a 23-year-old woman from Totton, was taken to Southampton General Hospital in a critical condition for treatment for serious injuries.

A 40-year-old from Stevenage, Hertfordshire, appeared at Aldershot Magistrates’ Court in December accused of driving with an unsecure load.

However, it was adjourned on the request of the prosecution and the case has been relisted for 18th March.
