Dean Riddett cleared by jury of possessing weapon and assault

A MAN was unanimously cleared by a jury of all charges after facing accusations following an incident in Lyndhurst on Sunday 11th July.

Dean Riddett (52), of Paynes Road, Southampton, was charged with possessing an offensive weapon in a public place and common assault of an emergency worker.

But a trial at Southampton Crown Court found him not guilty on Friday 10th September 2021.
