Jury convicts Awaas Deader of attempted murder of woman found injured in Exbury Road in Beaulieu




A MAN has been found guilty by a jury of attempting to murder a woman before dumping her by the side of a New Forest road.

Awaas Deader left victim Rabia Niaz, then 29, on Exbury Road in Beaulieu on 11th October last year with what police described then as “significant injuries”.

A trial at Southampton Crown Court concluded this week with the conviction of Deader (26), of Blenheim Gardens, Southampton.

At the time of the incident, Ms Niaz was taken to hospital after being discovered. Her condition was “serious but not believed to be life-threatening”, a Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said then.

Deader will be sentenced tomorrow (Thursday) at Southampton Crown Court.
