Kyle Butler from Christchurch ordered to undertake unpaid work after admitting homophobic behaviour towards police officer




A CHRISTCHURCH man has been ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work after admitting homophobic behaviour towards a police officer.

Kyle Butler (36), of Everest Road, caused alarm or distress to PC Lane by using threatening or abusive words or behaviour in the town on 4th August last year.

The bench sitting at Southampton Magistrates’ Court also ordered Butler to pay £300 compensation to the officer and court charges of £85.

He must also undertake up to 20 rehabilitation activity days.
