Totton man Christopher Lambert in Southampton court after stealing pallets

STEALING wooden pallets cost a Totton man £165 when he appeared in court.

Christopher Lambert (33), of High Street, admitted the theft of the items, valued at £81, from West Country Fires in Southampton on 22nd June.

As well as fining Lambert £80, the city bench told him to pay another £85 in prosecution costs.

No compensation was ordered as the court was not provided with evidence relating to it.
