Christchurch man Paul Jenner handed restraining order for sending woman violently themed messages




SENDING violently themed messages to a woman saw a Christchurch man banned from contacting her for a year.

Paul Jenner (43) was convicted at Poole Magistrates’ Court of the offence at his home on Glider Close in September last year, causing the victim “alarm, distress and fear of violence”.

The restraining order handed down by the district judge also prohibits Jenner from entering a street in Poole.

As well as this, he was handed an 18-month community order, requiring he undergo mental health treatment and rehabilitation activity. He will also be electronically tagged for the first six months.

Jenner was also fined £120 and told to pay £199 in court charges out of his benefits.
