A FAWLEY man who committed assault just two days after being given a suspended jail term for domestic violence has gone to prison for 20 weeks.
Daniel Marczylo (36), of no fixed abode but living in the Fawley area, pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman in Southampton in June.
The city’s magistrates were told Marczylo committed the offence just two days into the operational period of a suspended jail term for domestic assault.
Jailing the defendant, the Bench said he was a “persistent” offender with a “terrible record”.
He was also made the subject of a restraining order until 31st July 2024 and ordered to pay £125 in court charges.
