Thomas Amos of Hythe jailed over racist abuse

HURLING racist abuse resulted in a Hythe man being jailed for 14 weeks.
Thomas Amos (36) pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in his home street Butts Ash Gardens on 13th January.
Southampton magistrates handed down the prison term as the offence was racially aggravated and he had previous similar convictions.
He also pleaded guilty to breaching a criminal behaviour order by attending a city address within an exclusion zone on 9th January.
