Witnesses sought by police after man shoved into shelves in assault at Aldi in Christchurch
Police are probing an attack in which a man was shoved into shelving at a Christchurch supermarket.
Witnesses are being sought after the victim was assaulted by a man known to him at Aldi in the Meteor Shopping Park, off Somerford Road, around 3pm on Monday 30th December.
The shove caused him to fall into a set of shelves, suffering injuries to his torso.
PC Tilly Blackley said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and I understand it may have been witnessed by staff members and shoppers.
“I would urge anyone who saw what happened, or who has any information that might assist our investigation, to please contact us.”
