FLYTIPPING wood shavings and household waste cost a West Wellow man over £1,800.
Eddy Hilden (54), of Scallows Lane, admitted depositing material in Nursling in July 2021 without a permit under the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
He pleaded guilty to carrying controlled waste while not registered, contrary to the Control of Pollution Act 1989.
He also pleaded guilty to failing to attend an investigation interview in October.
Southampton magistrates fined Hilden £1,000 and told him to pay just over £800 in court charges.
