Shaun Scott of Marchwood found guilty of assault by beating and using threatening, abusive words or behaviour

A MARCHWOOD man found guilty of an attack was ordered to pay £200 compensation to his victim.

Shaun Scott (49), of Trotts Lane, had denied assault by beating and a separate matter of using threatening, abusive words or behaviour.

However, he was convicted of both charges at Southampton Magistrates' Court.

He was handed a six-month community order by the Bench and also told to pay £200 court charges.
