Men due in court over alleged road rage against taxi driver

TWO Lymington men have been charged in relation to an alleged road rage incident.

Corey Chambers (25), of Tithe Barn, and Ryan Bradford (18), of Bridge Road, both stand accused of criminal damage and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of or provoke unlawful violence.

The older man also faces a charge of driving without due care and attention.

It relates to an alleged incident in the early hours of 21st February, which was said to have started at the Somerford roundabout in Christchurch. A taxi driver was reportedly followed by two men in an Audi TT to Bournemouth town centre.

Having attended voluntary interview with Dorset Police the men have been issued with postal requisitions to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Friday).
