Met Office issues yellow weather warning for heavy rain across New Forest and Christchurch tomorrow (Thursday)




HEAVY rain is expected to bring flooding and disruption across the New Forest and Christchurch tomorrow (Thursday).

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning which runs from midnight on Wednesday until 7pm on Thursday.

It is estimating between 20-40mm of rain is likely to fall widely across the south and south west and could be accompanied by strong winds.

As a result, some communities may be cut off by flooded roads and closures may be put in place.

It is also warning that some homes and businesses could be flooded and delays or cancellations to train and bus services are possible.
