Met Office issues yellow weather warning for rain tomorrow (Thursday) which could cause flooding and travel disruption across the New Forest and Christchurch




FURTHER rain set to fall tomorrow (Thursday) could cause flooding and travel disruption across the New Forest and Christchurch.

The Met Office had issued a yellow warning for rain which runs from midday until 3am on Friday, which it says will exacerbate the current very wet ground across the region.

It is advising motorists that difficult driving conditions could occur due to spray and flooding, which could also result in delays to train and bus services.

There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded and a slight chance of power cuts and loss of other services, it added.

The Met Office advises residents to check if their property could be at risk of flooding as well as being prepared to amend travel plans if necessary.
