Thieves steal minibus from Bartley School

POLICE are investigating after brazen thieves broke in to the grounds of a New Forest school to steal its minibus.

Bartley C of E Junior School in Winsor Rd, Bartley, was targeted overnight on Monday.

Headteacher Karen Stonehouse said: “I can confirm that our school grounds were broken into and our minibus stolen.

"The break-in and theft were discovered early on Tuesday morning and reported to police, who are investigating.

“We have put in place temporary transport arrangements to ensure that pupil transport is not disrupted following this incident.

“If anyone has any information that could assist police with their enquiries, I would urge them to please get in touch.”
