A UNIVERSITY student bidding to win the Miss England title is holding a charity fundraising fashion night.
Imogen Wilson, from Ashley, is just finishing the second year of her fashion degree course at Arts University Bournemouth.
She has won a place in the semi-finals of the Miss England contest, which takes place on June 23rd.
The 23-year-old, who previously attended Arnewood School and Brockenhurst College, is holding the fashion show at Bashley football club and village hall.
The event on Tuesday June 18th will showcase various brands, and afterwards the clothes will be available to purchase at discounted prices.
There will also be a raffle with lots of prizes and half-price drinks at the bar.
Imogen told the A&T: “Mental health isn’t talked about very much and as this has affected members of my own family it is a cause that is very close to my heart.
“The show will be a really fun night and you can also grab a bargain after.”
Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets cost £5 which can be obtained by emailing papyrusfashion@outlook.com or by ringing 07711 806808.
Proceeds will be donated to the Papyrus charity which works to prevent teenage suicide.
Imogen is also urging readers to support her bid for a place in the Miss England final by texting MISS SE22 to 63333.
The 10 contestants who receive the most messages will earn a point towards the coveted title.
