Old Wightlink ferry rope put to good use at Monkey World




A LOAD of old rope donated by Wightlink ferries from its operation at Lymington is being given a new use – by a group of monkeys.

Apes at Monkey World in Wool, Dorset, are enjoying playing on swings made out of discarded material.

Wightlink chief executive Keith Greenfield. “We need to replace rope regularly for safety reasons and always look for good causes which might find it useful.

"We were delighted when Monkey World expressed an interest, and delivered it to the park."
