A HAND car wash company found illegally operating was among two incidents in the New Forest which led police to fine three people for breaching Covid-19 restrictions.

Officers attended the business in Ringwood Road, Woodlands, last Saturday in response to reports it was contravening the current Health Protection regulations.

A 33-year-old local man was reported for summons in relation to a fixed penalty notice for a breach of Covid-19 regulations.

On the same day, officers issued penalty notices to two men found drinking alcohol and listening to music outside the Saxon Inn pub in Calmore Drive, Calmore.

A Facebook post by police about the incident said both men had previously been warned about this type of behaviour.
