Woodgreen man Oliver Heywood to stand trial over horse death on B3078 Roger Penny Way

A MOTORIST who denies killing a horse while driving without due care and attention will stand trial in November.
Oliver Heywood (26) of Woodgreen Common Road, Woodgreen, is accused of committing the offence on 7th August last year on Roger Penny Way while driving a BMW.
Southampton Magistrates' Court granted the defendant, who entered a not guilty plea, unconditional bail until 10th November, when his trial will take place.
