New Milton man arrested at Bournemouth Airport after 'abuse on plane'




A MAN from New Milton was arrested by police at Bournemouth Airport after he allegedly became threatening and abusive on a Ryanair flight from Barcelona on Monday.

Air traffic control alerted police at around 4pm after receiving communication about the 47-year-old’s behaviour from the plane's crew.

Officers boarded the plane when it landed, and the man was arrested.

He has been charged with behaving in a threatening, abusive, insulting or disorderly manner toward a member of aircraft crew.

He is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on 13th October.
