New Milton man Thomas Gunner charged with fraud by false representation and two shopliftings after reported incidents at Morrisons and Tesco branches in the town




A New Milton man has been charged with fraud after reported incidents at three stores in the town.

Thomas Gunner (30), of no fixed abode, was arrested in Marryat Road on 24th January. He was also charged with two counts of shoplifting, assault of an emergency worker and failure to remain after drug testing.

This follows reported incidents at Morrisons on Beechwood Avenue on 16th January, Morrisons Daily on Avenue Road 17th January and Tesco Express on Old Milton Road on 24th January.

He has been released on conditional bail to next appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 19th March.
