Hampshire County Council announces road closures for New Milton, Milford, Keyhaven and Hordle

ROADS in New Milton, Milford, Keyhaven and Hordle will be closed for surface dressing later this month and into August.

Hampshire County Council said the work will provide a waterproof seal to help prevent potholes and “restore skid resistance”.

In New Milton, Ferndale Road between Hollands Wood Drive and Oakwood Avenue will be closed for work on Friday (28th).

Barrs Wood Road in New Milton will be closed from Barrs Avenue on Friday (28th) and Monday (31st).

Saltgrass Lane in Keyhaven will be closed from New Lane to the access to Hard on Saturday (29th).

Northfield Road in Milford will be closed from Carrington Lane on Saturday (29th) and Tuesday, 1st August.

In Hordle, Frys Lane will be closed from Everton Road to Wainsford Road on Saturday (29th).

Work at each location will take around two days to complete with the roads closed from 7.30am to 6pm, although it may continue later into the evening in some cases.
