New Milton Town Show back this Sunday after two years and will feature huge vintage car display
NEW Milton Town Show is back for the first time in two years promising to be “bigger and better than ever”.
The pandemic caused the cancellation of the Lions Club event for two years running, but it will be returning to the town this weekend.
At its heart will be the veteran car display, featuring some real treasures from the Three Counties Vintage and Class Car Club.
Held on the recreation ground this Sunday between 11am and 4.30pm, the event promises fun for all the family, with a fun fair and host of stalls, including a soft toy tombola.
Hordle Flower Club will be hosting a flower display, with a peoples’ vote for the best one.
There will also be live music, with the Emma Hardy band followed by Musk and a ukulele band. Ballard singer Lee Martin will also be performing, along with Six and Sax.
A bar and the legendary Lions Club barbeque will keep crowds fed and watered.
A spokesperson for the Lions Club said: “Sunday is predicted to be the hottest day in August so far. We are so pleased to be able to bring back the town show which has always been hugely popular.
“We had 5,000 people at our Easter parade and are hoping for similar crowds on Sunday. It will be a really good fun day out for the family.”
