Paul’s cohort of close and supportive friends were central to him throughout his life, and his culinary skills were legendary, as was his fun and laughter.

He was never happier than when he was preparing food in the company of family or friends, resulting in some delicious picnics on beautiful walks as well as memorable suppers at home.

Paul fundraised for good causes including the Daffodil Ball, Mary Rose Trust, St Barbe Museum and Oakhaven Hospice. Over the years he asked to be the auctioneer at many charity events as he was renowned for using his sense of fun and skills to engage even the most reluctant bidders and achieve amazing results.
