Southampton magistrates order Holbury man Kieron McCullie to pay KFC £1,400 compensation after criminal damage




AN offender from Holbury who attacked a man and caused £1,400 of damage in a fast food restaurant has been ordered to abstain from alcohol.

Kieron McCullie (32), of Beechwood Road, pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage to a till and a cookie cabinet at KFC in Long Lane, Holbury, on 1st July last year.

He also admitted assaulting a man and threatening to smash a woman’s mobile phone.

Taking McCullie’s guilty pleas into account, Southampton magistrates ordered him to complete a monitored, 60-day alcohol abstinence programme, which will last until 12th March this year.

Alongside this, he must complete 20 days of monitored rehabilitation activity and pay KFC £1,400 and his assault victim £150 in compensation.

McCullie was made the subject of multiple restraining orders prohibiting him from contacting either of his victims or going to KFC in Long Lane until 11th July, 2026.

He was also fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 in court charges.
