Annual New Forest Run sees over 180 MG cars take part in aid of Honeypot Children’s Charity and inclusive cycling group PEDALL

MORE than 180 MG cars took part in an annual drive through the New Forest in support of two local charities.

The Southampton and New Forest MG Owners Club hosted the 24th New Forest Run, which began at East Boldre’s village hall on 2nd June.

This year’s event was in aid of Exbury-based Honeypot Children’s Charity, which supports young carers aged five to 12, and inclusive cycling organisation, PEDALL.

A spokesperson for the event said: “Under sunny skies a convoy of MGs embarked on a scenic route through the picturesque New Forest. The sight of classic cars winding through villages, woodlands, and heathlands was a highlight, with many participants praising the event's organization and lovely stops”.
