Overnight heavy-rain warning for Christchurch and New Forest

A YELLOW weather alert has been issued for heavy rain to hit Christchurch and New Forest tonight (Friday).

The Met Office warning says there may be some flooding and disruption as a result.

Bus and train services will "probably" be affected, and spray and flooded roads may lead to longer journey times.

The warning is in place from 9pm tonight to 9am tomorrow.
